About the maps, I used to play Kobra with my (new to ddnet) friends when I was noob many times, but approx. in the past 8 month, I've been online on the servers with high player count, whether it's Moderate or Insane. I hope it answered your question.

Well, generally I dont play for points or rank, instead, I prefer spending my time playing with both my real life friends and DDNet friends, which means I might finish a map more than 7-8 times just to enjoy playing with my friends ...
