Hi. I store my configs in separate directory and use links. But ddnet client overwrite my link with file. This makes me sad :cry: Because all other software work fine with links. If I remember right, ddnet client makes backup while saving settings but why does it move/remove original settings_ddnet ...

You should definitely do that. I use i3 for ~1 year (but on Debian) and it's really great and fully customizable
