Application Support is for mac. If you are on windows you can execute config_directory.bat which should be located in your ddnetfolder. You can also execute this with the command prompt: @start explorer %APPDATA%\Teeworlds

These binaries are for Linux only.

For compiling you have to invoke bam like this: bam server_sql_release. What you did was probably: bam release.

On mac os x you can use macports to install the additional libraries. For windows: Well no idea if this is going to work with sql, not sure if this was ever done.
