0.5 teeworlds font to ddnet

hi, i want to change ingame font in my latest ddnet. i want to take 052trunk font and put it in ddnet i play on. but in 052 there are no usual font files, there are png(which dont convert to ttf) and .tfnt files which do not convert, they wont even open because its 052teeworlds unique file format and there are none programs that can be used to open it(at least i didnt find it). help please
