Answer my questions and don't post multiple times. You could also try gfx_vsync 1, cl_cpu_throttle 2.

When you have black screen your computer gets blocked?
What is your operative system?
If you can... open a terminal and start the game from it... ( if you have linux as operative system you can just do lctrl+alt+t for open it and type teeworlds )... when the black screen appears just go on the terminal and write here the log...
We will know what is the problem!
If this dosen't help try formatting... O_o

How did you get a black screen can hear normal sounds, etc. I can even write but a black screen. Then shut it comes again and jumps timeout
