points are for playing maps, there should'nt be something like loosing points
it should also be possible to get ALL points (this rule would change that...)
with only points for 1-15, some people might finish a map with different names

There shouldn't be maps on DDNet which you can run without skill...
It would be stupid to give 1 point for 5sec, and if there won't be given points they are noneed on DDnet.
DDNet can host shortrace maps on an extra server which is hosted in Madagascar, but don't mix them on a server with mid/longrace maps, please.
Shortracers can play on Teerace (also with points), longs got lost...
You can't tell me that a 5sec shortrun is worth as much as a 1 Star novice...
It would be stupid to give 1 point for 5sec, and if there won't be given points they are noneed on DDnet.

So, if you want to finish all maps without good time it's easy for a player that has 1 day in teeworlds. pls men...

There are a lot of considerable ranks.
Your ranks on DDNet won't be worth something, because old records won't be added to the ranks.
I can create the 100th shortraceserver and finish run_blue in 7sec.
Fine, im first but this time is bad.
Real shortrunners won't switch the Server because its DDnet.
They will stay on their favourite servers, because there are all the records, also of runners who stopped playing Teeworlds.
Longs got lost, because of these many shortserver, so some people dont know the good old maps.
Thats why longs should be added and shorts not.

Definitly they will! They will play on all RACE servers, not only on favourite... because their are not updated!
DDNet has many people, ranks will be authoritative after some weeks, so where's the problem?
It's not argument for not adding short maps.

Fine, i don't know a lot of shortrunners.
When i played race there were two main server with many longracemaps (AE and WAR).
There were some smaller servers with longs, but the times there couldnt reach the WAR and AE ranks => less People played there (seems that they didnt want to change because of their ranks on the main servers).
Of course new maps, which weren't on the AE on WaR Server were popular, but on DDNet there won't be new shorts.
If DDNet plans to add shorts, there will be only a few of them (dk how many but i hope not more than 10
).
So i can't Imagine that all shortrunners will play here because of 10 updated maps (+Records of old players miss).
I know you are an experienced shortrunner and i respect your opinion, but inhave my own view
