Vote: Like or Dislike DDmax Maps

I don't want to generalize the outcome of this voting. I know that most people don't use the forums, but those who do are likely veterans who have been playing Teeworlds for a long time. I want to know if they have the same opinion as me and got bored about these maps too. I am from the oldschool-times and really like those generic maps with plain colours or some grass main. But I don't like these colourful maps with ugly design where many things don't make sense.

For sure new players will like 95% of these maps as long as they can finish them

I don't like ddmax, i like maps more like genericore ;D

In 2012 I finished most of the DDmax maps with deen to get the best time After all I would say that DDmax has a lot of good maps! Unfortunately the "newer" maps are all similar, same tileset, same gameplay. I can't understand why so many players like to play those maps They dont even look different because they are mostly done with the same tilesets
But it would be wrong to reduce DDmax just on these bad maps. If you want to play good DDmax maps vote for the older ones or the maps on DDmax Pro, they have usually been more creative as well

A little anecdote:

Before I got banned from DDmax I talked with Tsin about that as well. I said they should stop accepting those similar maps and mapper should be more creative again. All new mappers got inspired of those simple dummy drag maps. I think every player just did one as well to have his/her name on the DDmax servers.

Tsin just laughed about what I said and he called it "Attack of clones". Now DDmax is dead.

DDmax died because nobody did something for it, no new maps, no fixes in the client
deen did a good job while tsin probably had no time (or no knowledge) to do something
