imp, i think we are only both who take care about time spent in game. That why im against of any kind of noobfilters, cuz its huge waste of time. If players need solo they'll playing on Solo server. At any other mode it is time stopper. Cuz if u want fun play without a partner you just waiting over hour when ppl getting used to these NFs.
So i hope all those of mappers who puts nfs in their own maps will die in hell for additional 10 hot eternal years.

noobfilters has more than just waste your time...
As it says it filters the noobs, so they will know that if they are not able to do that noobfilter, the map will be too dificult for them, also for these who pass that nf easy they will find better partners.

If there was no filter in some maps, the start would be really annoying. Imagine if the first part is a drag part, there would be allways 5 tees around trying it and 5 afk tees blocking there.
I like to make filters to share a cool idea (e.g. in Eternal you have to play the filter with 2 players, after doing it solo) or to teach them something (if i make a map with a new feature, people can learn a bit in the filter).
There are different uses of noobfilters, not only the idea to filter players.
Some filters are annoying and especially in faily maps i don't like filters (because it makes the gameplay much slower).
I think the we have answers to Teengotens ideas so i feel allowed to write OT

It works actually Welf. Just look at maps like Naufrage or Nostalgia. I have to admit there are some blockers but the maps wont be that popular with a nf. And its fun to play with a huge mass of tees.

Man, ANY player can pass any NF after 100 tries, ok? Furthermore any player can beat top1 at any solo map just repeated it one thousand times.
These filters works wrong if u need to filter somebody. Cuz skill is just addiction to right press button timings. Thats all.

Thats why good mappers didnt place dragpart firstly on map. Knowledge is power, Welf.

If you need 100 trys for a noob filter, think about improving your skillfirts (also that means that filter works!)

The Chess wouldn't be harder if we play it 100kg pawns, just annoying. The first law of game design - if u can remove something from map and it doesnt change gameplay - u must do it. All this over900000 freeze tiles and same bad gamedesign choices. For instance - Noob Filter's on many maps. It doesnt effect on gameplay. So mapper should remove it, cuz law n1.
NF before map like u must play 1 match Checkers before u be able to play Chess. Just mind that.
Do u want be obliged to play Checkers before Chess match? Will u like this system?
NF appears cuz bad mapper did bad gamedesign choice and forced to improve bad start by placing NF.
And specially for u - i can beat any NF in whole game in only 1-5 tries. But its annoying. Especially when u waiting less even 5 minutes after NF.

The Game is about action. Not about "stand and wait while newcomer getting used to NF", ok?

NF changes gameplay of a map by filtering players, so you will have better experience with players of same level.

Also we are in TW not chess.
Yeah talk about laws on a game where you can do what you want. And also, check my irts sentence.
Also this discussion will end nowhere, people will just keep.making them.

I bet u dont know definition of the word "game". So, just look at how best mappers design their maps.
My arguments still on table. Its standart for videogames during 15 years. If ur player just stand and wait instead playing then that game/map/otherwise is bad.
