The only problem with /spec is that you can cheat with it on some maps becouse you can push people with it :D

Thats the original reason why it got changed to the pause we know today

I find /spec annoying. People can hide with it and you can put multiple people into a small space, thus making maps easier.

Honestly, we play Aim so much lately and a good part of the new brutal maps support /spec too, and we all just got used to it. Everytime driver changes, or someone needs to do hookpart, we give him strong.

I understand the argument with space, since you can put infinite people on the same edge on edge parts for example... but still, my wish stands and you can read it here, dear admins!

Also note that the decision to enable /spec on all maps can never be reversed because you can make faster times on most maps with /spec. That also means that most people who spent hours to get good ranks can now get their ranks beaten much more easily. If at some point you notice that it's annoying when 10 noobs are hiding in /spec all the time and then kill people by unspecing quickly at the right time, then it's too late. A tee should not be able to simply disappear, especially on Novice maps.
