If it's sarcasm on the reply, I really didn't notice it xD... but wat he said it's just what I think, you keep having a clean project, and you want to keep it like it is, it's awesome to see how much dedication you put on it... and even when you say you didn't work on it for a long time, you allready spended a lot of time on it, for free, and you keep coming back to solve things, and see everything it's under control... I think they are a couple of ways to get more money for ddnet.
First of all ad more methods to donate money like paysafecard because not everyone has paypal.
Now about advertisements you dont need them on the forum but you can use them indirectly via youtube for example. You wont earn mutch with youtube because tw is not very popular but it will help.
You could sell servers for private use or other things like skins (like aoe did) of course you need one who has time and the skills to do good skins.
