Ah sry. My bad. Condorcet.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Condorcet_method
Link, pls.
No way, it will deanonimize me.
I dont need tons of spam in the facebook. As it happened before. :D

But if u google who uses condorcet method u will see many hi-tech corps and science investigation groups. Bcs it has huge effectiveness.
For example Ubuntu foundation uses it. And it helps organize bunch of free-coders for producing complex software.

Firstly it doesn't make sense to vote things like "bugged" or "unbalanced", cause these votes would say nothing. The mapper needs to know which parts are unbalanced and where the bugs are. So at the end the vote is mainly about if the map is ready/good or not.
But in this point the method doesn't fit to what you vote - a method which requires the voter to order the votes doesn't make sense here...
Either you give it a yes or a no...

Also important to mention: There is not always a winner, so it might make things even more complicated as they are.

I would suggest you to firstly read that article before telling others that it is the best voting-system for DDNet.

You say that you run forums for 10k users, but you fear to get spammed by a few dozen (if at all) people from DDNet? This doesn't make sense at all.
And if it is just about your name...you already published this somewhere else, everyone who wants to, also knows it.

So? Would you give a link, pls? Or do these forums exist only in your fantasy?

If you would look a bit closer you would see that e.g. the guys at Ubuntu use that method for things like voting people into the staff. In such cases it makes sense to vote a order, saying which guy you whould like most, second most, ... as new moderator/... .
But this has nothing to do with a yes/no-decision in DDNet's Map-Testing.

All in all your suggestion isn't thought out at all and doesn't fit to DDNet. Even while you try to look smart with such super effective methods, it doesn't help anyone here. And as long as you don't show us where you use this method succesfully in 'your' forums, this "argument" can't be taken serious.

One thing that really bothers me is that mods barely force kick votes. Whenever you see them they will ask the blocker 20 times to stop and even if he doesn't stop they are like "please stop blocking it's not allowed. I will tell your mother if you don't stop". "If you don't stop block now I will mute your for 1 sec and demonstrate you my might." "I will move you to spec so you can start blocking others at the start line, need some new variation". - blockers know the rules and they know that they can block in any way they want since there is no "punishment" for them. Also the tip "If there is a blocker at start don't kick vote him but join team" is completely stupid. So all shall join team so the blocker can keep blocking?

An example from first hand: Saw some russian guys blocking the whole time and mod didn't really care. Told them "please stop". They stopped for 20 secs and then blocked for another 10 mins. Mod was online all time in spec. Kick votes often get F4ed and usually it's impossible to ban someone unless all are affected of it.

If you want a primitive comparison: Football (Soccer) Players tackle each other and hurt themselves. Referee: "This is not allowed. Please stop or I will do nothing". 10 tackles later half team is hurt and referee still jerks **** while he could have stopped the situation so easily.

I could define these words.
The mapper needs to know which parts are unbalanced and where the bugs are. So at the end the vote is mainly about if the map is ready/good or not.
And where is problem?
Post it like u did before.
You say that you run forums for 10k users, but you fear to get spammed by a few dozen (if at all) people from DDNet? This doesn't make sense at all.
I dislike any kind of deanomization.
So? Would you give a link, pls? Or do these forums exist only in your fantasy?
Think what u want. I dont care about it.
If u want help - here suggestions.
If u want having discussions - i dont need it.
In real world, specialist's and diletant's opinions aren't equal.

U waste my time.
If u need this system - i would implement it in one day.
If don't - ok then.
In such cases it makes sense to vote a order, saying which guy you whould like most, second most, ... as new moderator/... .
But this has nothing to do with a yes/no-decision in DDNet's Map-Testing.
Most hi-tech group in teh world - blue brain project / human brain project has this system for all kind of investigation processes. And it has success.
All in all your suggestion isn't thought out at all and doesn't fit to DDNet.

Ok then.
If u want to discover bicycle - it's your choice.
Smart ppl just use systems which proved their success.
Nobody has 1000 lifes for discover bicycles.
And as long as you don't show us where you use this method succesfully in 'your' forums, this "argument" can't be taken serious.
I dont need your trust. I dont need good feedback from you. I respect ppl only for results. I have esteem to deen. Caused of results. And i haven't esteem to you, cuz u haven't any results in ur life. Is it clear?
Ur opinion worthless for me, your trust worthless for me, and so on. It costs nothing. It even doesn't exist.

So.
As i said above: if ddnet has interest in this system - i would implement it. If not - then not.

Simple solution - implement different weight of votes. It does moderators system obsolete.
But it requires account system. :D

If results are so important for you...then show us your ones. :D
Actually you have even less results than me to show us, so why DDNet should've esteem for you? :D

I don't know anything about DDNet maps, so I will not say anything about that.

Anything in life can be improved. Surely enough, DDNet can be improved as well, but it's currently the best. This doesn't mean that I don't have any complaints, but complaining like this and not coming up with a solution is not progressive/constructive at all. If you really want to do something about it, learn to become proficient at coding Teeworlds. Of course, you don't want to do all that work.

Go look at teeworlds.com progress. If you're complaining about DDNet, teeworlds.com should be shutdown from spam of complaints.
