Well, it won't be useless if he will add links to topic/pages he will get the mapres from - so that we can either look if topics were updated and so add further mapres, or just search for new topics/whatever on these sites

I just post the mapres and the links to the topics where I got them from. The gathering will take some time though, I can't use my PC, only sometimes a laptop because I can't walk or sit properly for some weeks. I had a knee operation. I already started collecting tilesetlinks on my phone!

I started sort many tilesets in sorted folders if you want them I can send you them. They are certainly helpful.

Don't forget to include many of the good ones off of google.

I try to get it done as soon as possible but it takes a while, I already collected every mapres that is useable from all the forums I could find.
Now I have to search through the 6600 mapres from the zip file, takes a while.
After that I check for double tiles, arrange them in to logical order and then reupload all the files so that no links will break (should I use imgur or solidfiles? mediafire maybe?)

Just to clarify I won't create a database in the near future, I also have nothing considerable done yet. I started working with not enough knowledge about the framework I was using so I stopped as I learned that I could have solved a lot of things way better. If someone wants to work on it feel free to do so, he may also contact me if he wants to know anything about what I did.

If u want, i can give u some(over 4500) mapresses i found on google! I havent checked them, so there can be anything...
