the only thing we can do is buy an Anti-DDos server but it would costs a lot of money and the donations wouldnt cover the total costs.

Okey, I have a great idea about a movie... Just not completed. And... needs some players... 3 players enough.
My think: why not will create teeworlds 2.0? Well... the default maps will stays ingame but the textures will doing better in 2.0

What if we just try have a different kind of tournament?
Instead of having an event at a specific time that can easily be targeted have week long tournaments.
Say top time on this map this week, that way the ddos attacks wouldn't really ruin the tournament.
Sure it isn't as nice as a normal tournament but it is something.
Maybe we need to work around the problem instead of addressing it directly.
