I learned pretty much everything from other existing maps as i started mapping because there was just not a forum where everything is described.
and look now, best mapper in teeworlds

If you want to point out the purposes of a forum, you should firstly understand and use all of them. Cause then you wouldn't even need to ask or open a map, since your question has been answered multiple times in this forum and even got an own thread in the Tutorials-section.
