Nobody said that. There are rather barriers like being a Windows user and not used to the handling of a terminal. KoG built an simple web-page you can basically use with any device and with just the ability to read.

is that cool future not easily implemented in ddnet with some knowledge. if they have done it, we can easily copy and *tadaaa* we got what we want. maybe ask someone from kog about it and he can help us or we can steal his idea of uploading the maps.

Can someone just release the maps that are supposed to be released then you can "pause" the releases until you got something better figured out than just insulting each other on who cant do the job

Please, any mapper come and talk to me if i ever insulted him when he asked me for a release. By the way, the only ones who do that is RayB. and aaa. And they aren't the mappers.

As said, i got not much time left for releasing maps, i have no problems with teaching someone to do it, i can even share my scripts to help him.

hi_leute_gll, if being lazy and egoistic means being focused on exams that will make my path to have a proper work, then yes, i'm being absolutly lazy and egoistic.

The problem, you need full access to terminal, i'm not anyone to give someone the permission to give acces to it, who knows what could happen, i already told aaa to talk with HMH and search someone, no responses so far.

Well, so far there wasn't any kind of information of you being inactive. I don't know if this is exactly the fault of you or one of the admins, but tho I guess it isn't surprising then, that the mappers are mad. If you haven't time, cause exams, it is totally fine. But then the mappers shouldn't get a release date which can't be realized. And there is the point of egoism. If you take a task with responsiblity, you can't just say spontanously that you don't care without a really strong reason, but you did this a lot of times (and not only now when you have exams). And about the laziness...Look at your post. Even aaa thinks it is ridicolous.

From my experience I know how hard it is to find people. But that is exactly why some kind of website would be better. You also don't need so much acces then.

He asked in the skype group of ddnet, if this can be done (so the guy who releases maps has less work and the mappers can help at their releases).
I don't think that this has something to do with laziness.

Imo it's not cool to argue about him insulting others, that doesn't help at all, especially you hi_leute_gll shouldn't argue about insulting, but w/e lets skip that topic

well yeah the problem is that HMH has to focus on studies and has no time anymore for now, so does Ryozuki.. there's nothing/nobody to blame, they're allowed to have a life outside of tw and if they don't wanna spend what is left of their free time into releasing maps it's fine

so yes I guess we might need somebody trustable who would be able to release maps but as said in the thread he needs some knowledge and being able to use linux, releasing a map isn't just clicking 2 buttons and done

Being a leader, moderator, admin, etc.., one still has a responsibility, commitment and duty to uphold within the community. Then what is the point of being one of those with power if nothing is being achieved? The community (or what is left of it) still relies on those key people.
