Its not low effort just because i dont want to make a 2mb map with 100 mapres whignobody cares because everyone play with entities.
And parts dont need to be "new"because everything whats unmapped yet would be way too hard and complicated for less skilled players. Anyways the map includes only 3 or 4 simple drag parts, the map rizek is 100% made out of simple and standard drag parts (but ofc it has a good design thats why its released.)
I remember when you released my map Generic Fly under the condition that you can make a new design.
So dont tell me you would care about gameplay ^^

I took a quick look at the map and i don't see why we should't release it. Jao can you explain a bit further, why you think, that this one is bad? (I could now use the Stronghold argument from hi_leute_gll)

You don't make 2mb designs if you know what you're doing

it's possible to make great designs under 500kb if you edit tilesets and don't make quad images bigger than they have to be.

Nice, and how does the design changes the gameplay?
I dont even know how 80% of maps in ddnet look in design lol

rizek wasn't released by me. I don't remember what happend with Generic Fly back then but it was long ago, me and release standards aren't the same anymore.
This map isn't compareable to Stronghold. I didn't exactly mention the design as a decline reason, however, it shows that he didn't put effort into the map.

And i wonder why its nearly only you who doesnt like the map (and i tested not with my friends only lol)
Maybe you dont like easy moderate maps but a lot of players do

I think it's reasonable to require at least a decent design. While structure is part of design, it's also a big part of gameplay since it directly effects your ability to move around the map. If you can't move freely on the map it also kills the map's flow, making it bad to speedrun as well.
