Ddnet is public, everyone can use this modification. Dont worry, there will be a lot of servers in worst moment.

Hello all!
As I already get quoted in this forum, let me just quickly inform you about what I am trying to do before you get your hopes up.
As I am nearly a complete stranger to deen and anyone who is trying to save ddnet, I can't expect them to trust me without knowing me. Of course, that's a no brainer. So instead until now I am only trying to get in touch with people and waiting for a chance with everybody to properly introduce myself. I didn't ask anyone to take over the whole thing. Until now I only asked if I can help and how I can help.
Since we are talking about taking over multiple servers, this is not a small task in terms of trust. As easy as it may be for a non IT guy to trust me because of my charming avatar picture, this avatar picture can be the reason for an IT guy to doubt my words - speaking figuratively. As of now, I am mainly waiting for a chance to introduce and prove myself to the technically involved people. This can take a while and if they don't trust me, I can't help it.
In love,
gr33nt3a

gr33nt3a, you should definitely get a chance to chat with deen. But think about it if you are really willing to spend so much time on this project.

The fall of one thing can be the rise of another. In other words, really bored people with the means to do so, will spark a new ddrace community, if the ddrace community is really as dedicated to this as I think it is.
Meh, there's no telling what will happen.

It is not always off its on updateing
Sure i will have around 2000 maps and choice from this big selection the cool ones the challenges the anniying the gores the fun and the fame , special ones
I have some mappers for it too.
Its not an 1000€/year server
Its a new old lifestyle
Without points (no need to play each shit map you dont want)
Same maps as ddnet - official ddmax license(from tsin who play there too ,not only the ddmax maps from ddnet) old special maps too for example himmel 1-3, asdf 1-3 , epix xyz1-3(pro) ,skynet hardcore, koule 1-17 ,gajos i had some maps long time before released on ddnet
Working on it
Maps like run guy 26
Run gay
Rungay v2 was on my server even before ddmax was born
At moment some maps are there but more will come! Around 500% are possible but o dont want bullshit
Team, solo, team - solo maps
And the most important the fun

Farewell deen, thank you for the good times, and good luck to whoever takes the helm now.
You. I like you.
@deen I can only thank you for doing what you did. Farewell, though, if you want to go, we'll have to live with it.
@rest dont give up your hopes. this is the most active community, it wont die.
