That is how speedrunnings works usually, train parts until you are able to do them fast. It's not only in Teeworlds like that.

Yes - and this doesn't lead to your skill, it just shows that you're able to finish a map fast after 100 tries

Training ends up into skill...
Finishing a hard map is the same:
Train to get skill and then be able to finish.

Just trying 50 times to find the best positions to hook an dummy drag parts i.e. doesnt show skill at all

Finishing pro maps with skill parts like rocket fly or something, where you need to react on what happens and not just remember what to do shows skill

They are not always 100% same

No, there are different kinds of skills.
And one of them is to be able to do a part as fast as possible, if you know where the best postition is than you have more skill, even if it is a mind-skill and rather not an action-skill.

I agree with hi_leute_gll , plus it's very fun when you can race a map very fast. It does require skill.. First you need the skill to understand how you can play it fast and understand the physics of teeworlds. Then you also need to be able to execute it, so if you don't think speedrunning takes skill you couldn't be more wrong. For example, it's like saying to a normal racer who has first place on a normal race map, oh yeah but that doesn't take skill you just played it 100 times.
