Currently there aren't any plans to release DDNet on Steam.

I might be able to help with administration and stuff. I admin'd on the Inspire servers for 2+ years, and would like to help ddnet stay alive. PM me if at all interested.

You spoke my mind (for you admin, not me)
You will be a good admin (lucky for me you are a USA player)

DDNet shouldn't die, just because an admin is a bit broken, or because anybody left or disagreed. Think of all the players who are still loyal to ddnet.

Ofc it shouldnt die. But right now with that community that creates hate from nowhere and do such good videos (ejem, aoe). I just lose the hope in it. It would be good to have a bit autocriticism and see the things by your way, not because some player with 3 letrers im his name starts spreading out "anti leute" . "hi_tler_gll. It`s just so stupid.

And now, maybe it will survice, but for sure map quality will decrease and the hopes for a tournament are even less.

It wont die but hi_leute_gll was not the guy to take it over maybe he has the motivation

but he doesnt have the right ideas , he was already annoying deen when he was just a tester

He bullied deen saying that he doesnt do anything right

now that he has been 1 month where deen was for 2 years

I hated hi_leute before he was an admin and it didnt change he didnt do anything good for the community

Making Knight leader of the tester team a guy who wasnt really active in ddrace at the time

Instead of Lady Saavik or Welf who did so much work in the past year

So my words are im happy that Hi_leute is no longer the head admin of ddnet

And if Fels wants to replace him i would be really happy with that

Weird, it doesn't even need planning, since it's already greenlit.

Well, time for a statement from my side I guess ._.
I was rather inactive the last few weeks, so I didn't get the whole thing as it envolved but I'll try to write something anyways.

I totally understand your decision to quit the administration, hi_leute.
There might be failures on both sides and I do not really want to take sides. But the last few days must have been aweful for you. The youtube video(s) in combination with some comments were close (or even are) cyber bullying.. I hope you can just forget these things and get some distance to all of this. I do wish you all the very best, hi_leute <33 Nonetheless I also hope that Aoe, Forris, Cloudly, Spyker and all the other players involved will come back eventually and just enjoy the game again like they used to. Would be sad to lose you forever.

Thank you hannibal for the nice words (:
I'm glad to help, but unfortunately hi_leute is right. I'm kinda busy with real life and prefer to spend the spare free time actually playing the game with all the lovely tees around. (I missed all of you <333) Furthermore I don't feel like taking even more responsibitly.
However, I will continue enhancing and moderating the subforums Map Bugs, Tutorials (and probably Help).

So as written above, I'm trying to support the whole project, but unfortuantely I can't help with the real issues.
Administrating such a huge project is horrible. It takes a lot of time, and you cannot do it well as a hobby. Additionally there will be always hate, no matter what you do (even though, I always felt like the teeworlds community is rather friendly..). So, I don't know if it possible at all but ddnet should just extend the idea of splitting up the tasks. Hire different moderators for the different subforums and open the testing process to any volunteered player. I even support the idea of a vote system. Unfortunately that's all easily written. I know that the idea was already used in the last few months and somehow it didn't work that good. It's also really hard to find trusted people and even more complicated to verify and value opinions of Testers (not speaking of dumb votes). But in a long term this has to be done somehow, a single person or even a group of 2/3 people will always be forced to quit or get tired of all this.. :(
Btw Soreu, I'll probably write you a pm within the next few days with some minor suggestions and fixes forum-related.

>>In the end, I just hope that all the hate is over now. And I'm sure ddnet will survive somehow and eventually be administrated well with a loving community.
Index, worth sharing this as 500th post ._.
And atatata, milk is female :O
