Brr, cant discuss with you while you focus only on "how to kick blocker", didnt geting the real problem with 24/7 useless voters.
So lets keep random vote system only for increasing random chance to kick our personal enemy.

Chairn gave the best solution, imo. Eventually, same kind of that modification will be accepted.
Players just used to current vote system and think it is a best form of it. The best variant is have a mix system. Like if moderators are online and on the current server, then decisions will have to by moderator. If players > 20 then only nearest player have to do decision. Something like that.
Complex systems always better than simple, because negative enthropy.

The problem is that moderators don't want to watch all the players and check who might be banned. Moderators can't see everything. It would be annoying for moderators, if they can't play the map, but have to make decisions about all the votes.
"only nearest player have to do decision" wont work. Then it is possible for a few friends to ban everybody 1 by 1 and if there are teleporters in the map, people are far away from others and can't even vote for their group (i mean it is hard to implement).

In my opinion no "solution" for this "problem" is needed. If you are annoyed by others, play only with friends on empty servers. If you got haters, change your name. Don't play on full servers, if you dislike chaos and dumb decisions!

You all goting votekicking all the time as normal things, and looking on problem with wrong angle. While i`m trying to fight with real problem, everyone talking about very small different areas of problem, usually scaring about results

About ur post @Welf, I`m not got annoyed by single persons. I`m annoyed by this unfair votesystem, which allows you to call shitvotes all the time. And the most sad thing is that you all played with this too much to finally leave this feature as its now.

What I can agree with as a partial solution to this: Restrict vote times per IP instead of player ID. Increase the time for kick/spec votes. Get a moderator function to exclude someone from voting temporarily (zCatch mod has this)

What's unfair is that some mod force vote no when we try to kick or move to spec blockers...

Every moderator will force no. He doesn't know if this player is violating rules. He is on server to punish violators and he has to know for sure. Usually, when people start complaining about their votekicks forced no, I offer them a deal: I will force their vote yes, but if ANYONE try to votekick them I will force yes too. No one dared yet.

Funvote? Huh? No way it will be funvote, all these players are honest and would never funvote.
People use valid reasons to kick each other. Untill mod/adm decides one violated rules, he/she won't be punished.
Basicly, if you see mod online - send him PM, he/she will do whatever possible
