Hello everyone, I am currently playing another game and I am lazy to do the hall of fame. I'll be in holliday tonight and I'll try to record & upload the latest records that I got this week-end, but can't promise anything.
Don't worry, this will be done someday !

I would like to add another thing :

We only take records that are made in team if you play ddrace not-solo.
I got a record from a guy being dragged through the whole map : this is not skill, and we don't want to promote such run!
I am pretty sure that you can find someone to make you a video of such "runs".

Thanks everyone, hope you'll have great hollidays (if you have some) and nice christmas/new year time.

But you promote runs where people go out of the map? (Careless)
Such things should be fixed and the ranks deleted...

That's the decision of the mapper and not ours. You can show the mapper what you think is a bug, but not force them to change it.

I can remember to some maps where cheats where you can go out of the map were fixed directly without asking mapper. So for me it's weird that a run like this is in Hall of Fame. But if mapper wants it like this, it's okay...

but cheats like going out of map and getting in again at the end by jumping over unhookable blocks isnt really a risk

you just cheat half map with no risk :D

I could say that speedrunning in general allow glitches/exploit of the game.
As long as we decide to not fix, there is no reason to not promote such video.

Cheers.

You can't generally say cheats/shortcuts are bad or good. Unfortunately you need to consider every bug, cheat or cut and decide if it is good/bad in the context of the map.
For me that Careless shortcut is showing the skill of the two racers, because it's a one-tile gap above kill on a Novice map, that deserves a place in the HoF.

I don't have the courage to do the hall of fame anymore right now sadly :(.
If someone want to do it, please write here.

Its an hard work do this choose, more hard for the old maps.
At example: every blmap is "buggable" but nobody fixed this
