what is it you dont understand? i dont care what he says about the maps. i care about his position to decline a map from being released.

No, im against that he decides what maps is being released and which not, because i and many other people think the maps is good and should be released insted of being sent to archive.

What if we make a vote System only for official testers.
More then 50% yes = release
50% or less = decline
We dont need it on every map, only if the decision of release or decline is doubtable.

Nah, that is a solution but (maybe im the only one) i dont trust all testers. Last time i talked with gll he said that the most tester are only there to report bugs and nothing more. I thought that this is completly shit and unfair but when i take a look in the testing team only 5-6 testers are really testers who testing good and have opinions which i can unterstand(gll should start with better argueing, because his type of saying some thinks are that badly). There are testers which can report bugs succesfully but they have an bad opinion for releasable/not releasable maps. The point is that gll declines that often maps because the testing order is 2/3 full of shitty maps.
And i see no reason to stop it because ddnet keeped running and new good maps are incoming. I only think that some testers have to get more rights and that their opinions get more weight.

I know that test section has many shitty maps which deserves to get decline but i said the vote is only there if a release or decline is doubtable.
With a vote System the opinions would also get more weight.
The thing is i have read all comments here and i think the hate against gll is unfounded the only good arguement i found was that he sometimes declines maps which many testers liked. (Even good old testers)
So in this special case a vote System would be nice imo.
But im open for new/better solutions.

I know, that I'm also one of the reasons which started this - which is kinda funny; but you just all flame about current testers, mappers and admins...Most of you are just following herd, sheeps without own opinons. I'm really disgusted.
I have my own opinion on this situation; I'm not on nobody's side and I feel sorry for DDNet.
This is so sad.
I'm not saying, that I'm not dissapointed, that mine maps weren't released - to be honest I'm angry a bit. Whatever happens - I map for fun, I enjoy mapping and creating new maps - but you people saying: "Current mappers sucks!" You have no idea which people are doing maps and what effort they put on it. Some are working really hard and trying their best to do "perfect" map. And you just ruin their lifes.
These fights just ruins DDNet itself. And I wouldn't be surprised If DDNet will shut down forever. Just look at current situation.

This is the main reason why people leave - endless fights on forums and in-game. (I know I'm usually part of it.)
