I'm not saying that the non-teeish ones are not cool (bomb <3, ghost <3), but they don't really look like fluffy tees. :c
I think it would be nice if we'll have an option to see only the teeish ones. People like me, who feel distracted by the extravagant skins, may benefit from it. ^^

I think it's awesome that people can upload their skins, even if they are not teeish, but the teeish ones should be marked somehow. Both non-vanilla skin users and the others could benefit from it, because some of the people who currently just disable the additional skins may want to turn at least part of them on.

Of course there's a problem of distinguishing teeish and not teeish ones, but maybe together we could find some golden mean.
Just take a look at my list of teeish skins (kinda short :c) and compare them to the others - they are really different (they are fluffy; they're not wearing anything; their eyes, ears and art style are teeish):












Maybe the national ones could also have their category? They have a teeish shape, but their painting isn't really teeish - tees don't normally have so many colours at once.
There's also a problem of what to do with the bonus ones - oldschool tee, black tee, ninja tee and frozen tee (btw. we don't have the FNG freeze skin in our database, which is weird oO). Maybe we could have additional checkboxes for them?

That is why I just downloaded the "teeish" skins.

But the default DDNet Client comes with a pack of non-teeish skins - which is cool, I don't have anything against them, but it would be nice if we'll have a third option besides "only vanilla" and "all". ^^

data/skins --> delete the one you don't like --> gg

But maybe I'm not the only one who needs it.

PS. I've added the pool to research it. xD

EDIT: Seems nobody wants this configurable via GUI. Nvm this idea then. Anyway, thanks for the opinions. ^^

the database will not sort the skins after their teeishness because its not clear if a skin is teeish. you can only download and use the default skinpack if you want this. but im interested in the freeze FNG skin, if you have it post it in a new thread in the skin section of the forum.

But I'm not 100% sure, I remember it a bit different... more like a crystal with a default tee inside.

I've taken the file name to search for the first one from the expired image link.

The first topic author have written that both skins were made by bobsmiley. He also left some contact information in his topic.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure about the license and if we can upload them - I haven't spoken with the author, I don't even know him.

PS. The first one is also in the H-Client data/skins folder.

I know, but I'm not sure how it applies to skins - they are all based on the tee shape and eyes, but most of skin content is usually created by its author, not teeworlds team.
I'm not good at understanding such problems, so I rather don't want to upload anything if I don't know if I can. ^^
