I've already posted my project on the official teeworlds forum but I guess some of you might not follow it and it could be of some interest

We are starting a new project and I think it might work great with teeworlds : server rental by the hour.

Contrary to other server providers, you don't have to rent the server for a whole month, you can choose to rent it for one hour (at least). And to be able to test the service, the first hour is free.

As teeworlds (for me) is great to do a break at work, you can rent a server for example for that break and you will get it for free you will have to pay if you want more than one hour straight though.

Of course you have full control over the server (config, maps, ftp access). For teeworlds we have implemented MODs support and DDRace is supported of course

The process to rent a server is pretty simple : create an account on https://ondemand.dedikewl.fr/ , click on "New server", choose teeworlds as the game to install on the server and in the following seconds (yes really) your server will be ready with admin password, FTP access, ...

I dont tested anything but i hope you limit the amount of Servers one IP could create. I mean its for free (first hour) and people could spam the server by creating several new servers.

Yes
- 1 server per client IP
- you need to create an account before creating a server (with email validation)
- there's a maximum limit of servers that could be created

odgs can you add a pricelist? ( i even think that 1€per hour is pretty much) it would help people to decide quickly, if they want to use your service or not. I also have to ask: is there a ddos protection?

odgs a suggestion: can you make a few free hours per day? (for example at teecloud you can create 2 testservers, each runs for 6 hours, it is really nice if you want to test a ddrace map)

Yes sorry :
- first hour is free
- following hours are 1€/hour
- one week 5€
- one month 10€

It may be kind of pricey because we also provide more resource hog games like Counter Strike.

When your first free hour is over, you can create a new server again for one free hour (if there's still free servers available). But you also would have to deploy your server config and maps again, but that can be done quickly (FTP and/or web control panel).

And yes there's a ddos protection. But I'm "waiting" to check it's efficiency
