what is vsync for?
i have it on and have 200 fps a friend told me that if vsync is on you should have always 50 fps xD

It keeps your fps on a certain level, so you won't have lags, cause your fps are jumping up and down and so.
Normally it is synchronized to your monitor-settings, so if it is set to 60fps, it stays on 60fps.

ok so my monitor settings has 200 fps? and why i have 30 fps on some maps`? i tried turn on/off vsync but i dont see differnce

Tbh i don't know how exactly the vSync of the DDNet-Client is working and if there are bugs, what i wrote was just general about vSync.

so my vsync is bugged? (because there is no difference when on or off (i restart client))

You probably force vsync off in your graphics card settings. Set it to "application decides whether vsync is on"

found it , but it was already "application decides whether vsync is on"
maybe my laptop is just bad
