Should the Tournament be for New people or just for pros to run through ?

The tournament has a map of Novice difficulty. Of course Pros will finish it faster than new players.

Edit: One time we had two maps at the same time, so Pros wouldn't play Novice. I don't think that was a good idea.

i just think noobs should play those maps and not race with better players

But how can we forbid better players to play? They would just play with fake names.

It should be a Pro code you get mobbed for winning novice tournaments

But they will still want to play, so they will just finish with new names. I don't think it's better to have 10 fake names finishing first.

Can't you have two tournaments? One novice map and one moderate/ brutal map. This way the pro's will go to the moderate/ brutal maps and not to the novica map. But there are some problems:
- Two maps a time, so you will have to use older maps as back-up maps, because you don't have endless new maps.
- It could be that the novice tournament server will be empty and the moderate/ brutal tournament full or the other way around.
- You still don't know if the good people are on the novice tournament server or on the moderate/ brutal tournament server.

So after writing all this, I think it's a bad idea. So don't use this one :S (unless you think it could work)

EDIT: depending on:
- how many points someone has?
- his average time in all the maps he ever played on DDNet?

Then they will use a VPN or play at a friend's place to get another IP. Also I don't want to spy on players and find out who is faking who.
