It smells like an onion

Hey!
Im onionly .me' as known as .me'! You might have seen me once or twice on DDnet.
Im from Germany and I'm 21 years old. Working and studying for a german insurance company.
Im living for Borussia Dortmund & Teewolrds! In 2008 i started playing this tiny game.
I loved iFrzCTF when i got this game known, after that I enjoyed playing on iCTF servers. I have been a quite well player, played a lot with guys like "Pipking", "Impact", and "The Pro'' " and i have been part of clans like InQ.
When bots became usual the big insta-community slowly died, so I stopped playing for some time as well.
When I came back Race and DDRace became the more famous mods, so i started playing on these servers as well.
The mod DDrace improved fast and the amount of servers with this mod increased.
When I started playing on DDmaX I made a lot of good friends - not just the mod, but the community was what kept me active in TW
I increased my DDrace-skill by playing every single map with deen, til we were pleased with our times!

Unfortunately there have been some disagreements between many players and the admins or better... the dictator of DDmaX.
Some lifebans forced us to find another possibility to play with our friends that famous mod!
This was the birth of DDRaceNETWORK!
The most appropriate name for such a big and multi-faceted community, based on an idea of Megaman.
In combination with amazing IT skills of deen and some maps and ideas by .me' we started one of the biggest projects in Teeworlds.
It lives by its community and its progress. Everybody is part of this big successful project. DDnet is not just meant to keep Teeworlds and DDrace alive, its made for improvements and innovations. You can see this in the big amount of new features we (deen!) added to Teeworlds.
In every tournament you can see how many people - from around the world - DDnet connects today. DDnet became a big "playground" and "chatroom" that brings people together - to just spend time together and having fun! Our big DDnet-family
I made a lot of new friends in my time on DDnet as well. Im happy about all these new contacts that I can still keep up
From one's own experience i can say - Its even possible to find love in such a simple, maybe stupid 2D game.
Its just a truck of experiences, that I got with DDnet
So if youre interested in .me' you can always talk to me. Im online in evenings and nights, usually on DDrace or zcatch servers, where i win Every. Single. Time. ... Sometimes at least!
So in the end, i just want to thank everybody who makes all this possible!

This is the reason, why i began my life as an onion 1,5 years ago. I hope you keep it in mind, it has a deeper meaning
Sit down little adventurer. Sit down and let me tell you a worldly wisdom. A wisdom called 'The Myth of the Onion'.
Once upon a time there was an onion. The onion was the only one of its species. So it was alone, til it saw an apple tree.
There grew a lot of green big apples and the onion approched to them. But the apples did not talk to the onion.
The shining green and crunchy apples just laughed about the little onion because it was brown and dirty.
The onion felt insulted and hurt, so it left this area and it never wanted to come back.
But one day, the onion lost its dirty and brown first layer and now it looked crunchy and shining as well. So it went back.
When it approched to the apple tree, there were no more apples on it, all apples layed on the ground.
They were not green and shining anymore, they were just brown and rotten.
Since then not a single apple was laughing about the little onion, because now they knew it's changeable.
As you see, you may not be perfect all the time, but being multilayered is sometimes more important than that.
So stay multilayered and keep the possibility to surprise people. Keep in mind 'The Myth of the Onion'.
