Because the pings on ger servers aren't rly perfect for french players... Would it cost too much? I don't know at all if it's possible or not...

The idea is to have only one server location in Europe. You get used to a ping easily, so it would be problematic to have multiple locations in Europe. I consider a ping < 100 ok for DDNet. Also, it would cost and we'd need DDoS protection, which is more expensive. If people really want it though, maybe someone could sponsor a server in Poland and France, not sure.

Why would it be problematic to have multiple locations in Europe? Btw i saw "eur" servers, but my ping were the same as in ger. Where are they located, and wjat do they stand for? I cannotnfind them in 'Status'. Do u think it won't be enough player on fra if u could get a server?

As I explained, I think it would be problematic for players to get used to switching from ping 20 to 60 multiple times every day. EUR is located in France, but it's just this website server, not for playing. I think there will be enough players on FRA, but it would split up the european community. Anyone else have any opinion on this? If someone wants to donate 15 € per month for it, i'd be fine with running a server in FRA.
