To start this off I live in the USA and can't find many good maps that I either haven't played or has good ping.
I also own a server.. It works fine, but it's used mainly for my practice and only host it when I want. It's sort of a private server. Eventually people come on and leave 5 seconds later though
This being said when I host the server as DDrace (meaning I can't hack or cheat) is there any possible way to get points when completing a map in that server? because I have about 1 ping when I play! It's great! I've completed some maps in that way but haven't gotten any points for it so I'm wondering if there is a way to get points or am I stuck with the lowest ping for me which is about 120?

You need to link your server with mysql scripts and stuff to get points for map completions, but usually it's hard on file based servers.

You can't in file based servers

So it's not possible to do it with my own server..? What if I host the server on a different computer in my home and I play on that one? Will I get points for that as I am using a different account on a server that is "not" mine?

You can but need to build your own Server wuth SQL support

Not entirely what I meant by that, I was just saying that I need more than just a private server I made in 5 minutes.
