You can find a shorter version with screenshots in the Mapping ABC: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=2419
Some of you may not know how to cut out parts of quads/tilesets, so I will try my best to help you understand.
Putting tilesets in quads is very useful for if you want an animation, want to resize a block or such, and much more.
PS: Sorry I don't have any pictures :(

First Off, put the image you want to cut or scale in a Quads Layer.

1. Press the "Layers" button above the layers box, you will be at the "Images" box.
2. Add your image. (embed it if it's not a default image/tileset)
3. Go back to the "Layers" box by pressing the button two times more.
4. Right Click on "Game #1/0", select "Add Quads Layer"
5. Right click on the new quads layer, use "Order" to make it appear in front or behind the game layer.
6. Finally, there is a bar in the Quads layer tab, that says "Image" to the right of that, press "None" and choose your image.

(OPTIONAL) If you want to change the color of your image, do it before you cut/scale.

1. Right Click on the new "Quads" layer
2. There is a color picker, click on what color/shade you want, or insert a hexadecimal value for a more precise color.

Adding and Scaling your image!

1. Hold the space bar down and drag the mouse over the quad.
2. If it's selected, let go of spacebar and click where you want the quad to go (you can move it easily later)
3. Right click to deselect the quad.
4. To resize the quad, drag one of the four red dots out.
5. To only show a certain area of the image (what this tutorial is mainly about), hold shift and drag a red dot around, and see the effect.
6. It is pretty hard to explain with words or pictures, so you can try and scale to a certain area yourself!

Moving the Quad around

1. After scaling, etc, it is recommended that you do NOT aspect ratio it, because it will most likely go funky, and instead, click "Square" to align the Quad.
2. To move the quad, simply drag the green dot to where you want it.

And that's it, thank you for reading.
