Can you prove it is a server connection problem? Otherwise, i don't think admins can do anything about it.

or he failed dumb in the time you had connection problems or you both had in the same time laggs.

It was server lag...ofcourse they were having lag at the same time.
I have seen many fails caused by this kind of lag and I assure you, it's not cool.
This is 30pts map, and they were probably quite close to finish. Also they had 4 hours time.
I'd probably trample few puppies If I wouldn't get my run back...
