I was about to play some DM/CTF with the Chinese players and though there were plenty of DDRace servers from DDNetwork, I couldn't find any vanilla servers from DDNetwork. Can one be deployed with the same config as all others?

I believe Tom runs his own Vanilla servers on the same server that he sponsored for us to run DDNet. So just look for Tom's server, they should have [Tom] in their name. No need for DDNet Vanilla servers when there are already Vanilla servers running in the exact same location.

Yes, we had to resort to those servers and they did not have good settings/votes. It's not a matter of having servers present or not, it's more about the config. We were trying to play organized games and it was difficult.

Nope, don't have any way to contact him, except when he randomly shows up on IRC.

In China, players like to play DDNet or solofng/openfng, vanilla servers are always vacant.
But David U. Tang - one of my staff is interested in your cfg, so maybe I'll host some servers with his cfg which is based on yours.

Yes, please do host some! To be honest, we're just looking for 1v1 dm1 servers with 10 points. We can worry about CTF servers later.

Really though, 1v1 dm1 server with 10 points is all we're asking for right now. On the same server, you can have "exec CTF.cfg" command for a vote so that we can play CTF on the same server if you don't have capacity to host another.

You have a DM server with so many maps, but no options to change to 1v1,
