It happened yesterday in the South Africa server, basically the same person or a small group of people flooded the server with their clients+dummies and made sure to have one tee standing by after each obstacle to run through the map without actually having to do anything. I have a short demo I recorded of what the server looked like minutes before they did the thing.

They were still placing the last few tees. I don't think it's fair and at the very very least the records should be deleted.

Thats not illegal + you cant do that with team ranks

I understand that team ranks are more serious but nonetheless I don't think this makes sense, since ranks lose their meaning if it is allowed.

and how do you control it? do you go through the 1500 maps and every server to make sure people aren't doing it?
if you play randomly and get hooked through 1 or 2 parts to end up with a rank 1 its fine but not if you get hooked through 10 parts? so where/how do you set the limit? also on some maps you get weapons/bonuses at the end, how do you make sure that people don't go back with these to boost their team 0 friends?
you can't, and team 0 is meant for that purpose.. we won't prevent ppl from having fun by pushing it to the limit. it has already be done (pretty sure artkis made a video of him & friends doing it on the map Orange 1) and will be done again, and you simply can't prevent it.

as [A] Awesome said that's exactly why we have /teamrank, team 0 ranking obviously doesn't mean much and most people know it, if you wanna play seriously/have serious ranks then play in team, but that's not what everybody wants and we won't forbid them from doing so just for bragging purpose

and no, ranks don't lose their meaning. you're still rank 3 team (which is by the way higher anyway than your previous team 0 rank 5), so it's not like you actually lost something from them doing it

Alright, I didn't think of team 0 that way. I also wasn't aware that someone else did the same thing in the past - I rarely play ddrace and when I saw this happening I wasn't sure it was permitted. Thanks for clarifying [A] Awesome's brief message.

I am part of the running team you mentioned.

I see non team ranks as an opportunity to beat the map as fast as possible.
I loved watching people beat maps like this when I started out playing. (Still Do)

Didn't mean to upset you with our runs. If it does make you uncomfortable then rather judge players by their team ranks as they cannot be beaten like this.

Just got involved in something that I thought was really cool to watch when I was a Nooblet.
