i am disappointment with the default settings when u download ddnet for the first time i got to this by playing on another pc which didnt have ddnet so i got it and started playing
Honest opinion i thought it was utter shit

Why is quads off by default i couldnt see any back ground of any map kobra looked like a shitty emo just grey map
the emote (lshift) is not toggle, i press shift once and IT STAYS! until i press another key its goddam annoying and gets in the way alot i spent 10 minutes trying bunch of different commands to set this back to toggle i couldnt find it same with rshift i usually hold the key to see the window this is not that big a deal cause we dont use it often
default binds- wtf was my thought when i pressed q i started spectating the guy i was playing with why in what world would that be necessary ? and on q of all things the noob could accidentally press it and rage not knowing wtf he just did
just my opinion but people that has been playing for a while now dont notice these default settings cause they dont change settings if u just update

i just think some of you should reconsider these default settings you get when u download ddnet for the first time

if you download ddnet on another pc that doesnt have your config directory then it is off you cant see quads i had to turn it on

Well...for me they are on.
