Hi. I have a logo which is sitting at 1.5mb. This is putting my map at a very large size. (cant even upload it on test server). When i try compress it, i am no longer able to see the image in my Mapres. I have even tried changing the resolution but i havent had any luck. Does anyone possibly have a solution for me? (I have only tried online compression software as i don't know much about photoshop)

Don't use indexed PNG, teeworlds uses the pnglite library and only supports RGBA PNGs.

How would i not use indexed PNG? (Not sure what that means). This logo was made for me. I dont know how to keep the file in RGBA format when it is converted. (I also just tried converting my converted file to RGBA, and that flopped). Sorry for all the questions

Depends on the graphics program you use, no idea. You can try googling or tell us which one you use.

I searched for 'compress png image' on google and tried every site i could. Here are a few that i tried.

I can't seem to find anything on how to keep it in RGBA format, even after googling. Only people explaining what these terms mean. But i guess i am not looking properly

Tell the guy who made it to export it in smaller resolution/with lower dpi.
Also he might check his general export-settings. Could be possible that he stores too much useless data in the files.

Yeah i think i should because i dont know when the guy who made my logo will be online. Sorry but i also don't know how to attach an image. lol. How do i do that? (Ps you can find the image in the forum: requests - Need a logo.)

Choose a size: Gimp, scale image, export. (I also use a custom zopflipng that doesn't use indexed pngs, but that's just a few KB)
