But the problem is rather that we need better DDoS protection, which is not available at a resonable cost.

Well, strictly speaking the money is not needed. If no one pays, I just pay the rest for now. I would only shut down unpopular servers or unplayable ones. So I can not ask for a specific sum with a good conscience, especially not with a threat of "pay me 100 € for GER or it gets shut down in a few days".

On request I give out my banking information. Once I accepted a PSC donation, but to this day I don't know how to get the money out of a PSC, so the donation was useless to me.
