Hi,
the last few days i've experienced some lag. I figued out my pred-value is at about 80-100 and my ping at aroud 48/49.
what does this mean and is there any way to fix it?

What does it mean? Pred vs Ping.

Prediction is not ping, it sure depends on it.
All games have some kind of prediction, otherwise you would need to wait until the packet goes to server and returns with the new position and if in that case u don't have 0 ping you would see the game teleporting.
Pred, predicts your movement (actions) before the packet confirming your input is received, so it feels smooth, though, if you have a lag spike when you receive the correct position the client has to correct it and the only way is "teleporting" you or the typical lag effect, i think the problem is basically your internet, you may have slow upload/download speed or someone is downloading.

But what exactly mean those numbers?
For example, 40 ping and 60 pred.
So if i have 40 ping then i have 60 "real ping"? Moving packet to the server and backward?

I think it's like the real delay. Don't know exatly though. But the more you have, the worse

Pred also includes e.g. the time it needs to calculate the data recieved and sent. So it is not just the pure internet-connection. Also pred seems to get calculated more accurate and frequently, while the ping in the scoreboard isn't really proper (last thing according to deen).

now i still have lags, even if my ping and pred are stable at about 50...
any tips or is it my upload and download Speed?

Edit: and this only happen in tw as far as i know
