does ddnet use the server code from its github?

i saw the other topic where the message "Do you know someone who uses a bot? please report them to a moderator" was sent but
its not on ddnet github. so does ddnet use a different source than the official github?
also why does ryozuki lock all threads he comments on instead of leaving them open for discussion

here's the thread, but Ryozuki says don't worry about it.
you know the DDnet administration has the best intentions to you & your friends. thats what they demonstrate regularly.
anyway telling them they are bad will not improve them, they are convinced they are right & you are wrong. also they is no question that there is a private source, someone would have pointed out we where wrong if we where. we all hide on are own PC. it's the administration that i have an issue with, but they won't ban me, instead they just hide like cowards behind there secrets & control.
i'm not saying it's easy, i just don't agree.

If I understand you right DDNet become evil as google?
And I can believe that, because I know that some mod (Ryozuki) share my private information with others (IP address, location) that he obtained using his privileges. At least 2 people told me about that recently.

Google is on a whole other level, these are children playing with there game, not nearly evil in an sense of the word.
look i'm not happy but a i have said my peace, i'm not going to continue bashing them for there wrong doings & mistakes. being guilty my self... but i hope to make it clear when there is room for improvement.
if you think your IP Address(location) is private information your wrong! the moment you angrily attack someone you are no better then them. haters gonna hate. if you read this i feel sorry for you, i don't even know why i care about DDnet any more, must be the good times i had playing it in the past, it's these forums people i don't like, i'm thinking "remember the human", there is so little
comradery here, or thats just me & how a look at things. HMmmm.... so much to consider. but i have given up hope on my self & (there for?) DDnet. oh who i'm i trying to fool, i'll go do important & good things with my life now, hope you will too.

Maybe it's not private, but my haters didnt know it, and now they know and probably ddosing me because I often get huge lags spikes on different servers...
