Hey folks,
just a few words to introduce myself.
My name is Denis, im 20 years old an live in munich.
Currently im doing a apprenticeship as a it specialist for application developing. Before i started this apprenticeship i earned a lot of experience in computer science for years, maybe 2-3. The first contact with the IT itself i had as i played the official version of a mmorpg called Metin2. Some guys just ripped the serverfiles from the developers svn and started hosting a own private server. That was the time i started to be interested in this things. I learned about how servers work, to encrypt important data, programming languages like lua and python and several techniques to maintain serverfiles hosted on a freebsd. Later on i tried to get an in-depth understanding how this things work and i continued learning in self-education. That was a little insight in my IT carrier, im looking forward to learn much more.
I play teeworlds since 5-6 years, started with run maps, switched to block and finally got to ddrace. Since then im stuck on this mod.
I've spent more than 1 year on a single server, it was called "The best DDRACE Server" and hosted only one map -> xyz_ddrace. I loved it so much.
I found there many friends and it was real fun to play there, unfortunately i did a break and as i came back, the server was closed.
Now im playing on ddnet servers for a half year, maybe a full year and i like it as well.
Im looking forward to improve my c++ skills to be able to form my ideas into code and help whereever i can .
kind regards, meow
