I don't know if we should add some nice race maps to the solo servers :D
run_get50 is already in consideration, so why not take a look at some other really good maps. Over the last few weeks I choosed some of my favourite race maps and cleaned them up. They are all not that long, but the gameplay and the graphics are quite good. Maybe we can release at least a few of them (:
Unfortunately the mappers are not active anymore, so we do not really have the permisson ._.

i have some connections to racers (for example skizz), which permissions do we need?

adding too many race maps is maybe wrong so lets choose the best of the best? (ddnet is not a race server ^^)

Nice race maps, but RACE, not DDrace

Well, the mappers are Popo, SkizZ, sqx, Nutellafreak, Haselnuss, Yoshi, Cookie and maybe a few others.
But mainly we might need the permissons of SkizZ and Popo cause the majority of the maps (and also the best ones like run_neonlight or run_4Lollipop) are made by them.

Ye adding too much race maps might be not the best choice, but release a few of them is imo a good decision. There are already quite a few race-like maps on the solo servers (Speedster, run_guy25 etc), so somehow it's already RACEnet Gridwyn :>
I suggest run_SkizZPopo, run_black_white, run_long_for_popo and run_flypopo but thats just my personal taste :3

Are there really good Race server with well ping, global ranks, point system and so on?

Maybe we could think about a Race server by DDNet?

I am against ANY race map release into ddnet.
