Forum - DDraceNetwork

Hey com,
recently I realized there is a new version. Still running on 13.1 and updated it earlier. Now I can't update it anymore. "Update failed! Check log..." Where do I find this logfile? ^^

Other things I've done:
- I saw DDnet is available at steam, but the downloaded client won't start and close immediatly.
- I tried to download the new version as direct download from this websit. That client is starting but freezes at the first loading screen.

I would be happy if anyone can help me troubleshooting this problem.

F1, cl_show_console 1, then restart client and look at the black console window.

About crashing at start instantly. Try writing gfx_opengl_major 1 in the settings_ddnet.cfg

Didn't work for me. Just deleted everything at appdata. Now it works perfectly fine ^^"
Thanks anyway - it came to my mind while looking at the .cfg files.

If you have a backup please try to figure out which setting caused the problem.
