High ping in recent updates

Good afternoon, in the latest updates (after 15.8 or so) have a high ping on all servers. For the sake of interest ran the old client (not steam, 12.7.3) and there the situation is much better. Please tell me if there is something wrong with the game on the old version, if not which version is better to use. Thanks in advance.

Is it high just in the serverbrowser or also ingame? We changed how the serverbrowser ping is calculated.

In the browser. However, often when you enter the server, the real ping is higher than it was in the list of servers.
