Petition to stop remake of maps

Hello everyone.
I entered a novice server because i was glad to see a new map called teleport. As it was downloading, i thought to myself, i wonder if this is HDP_Teleport? Well, turns out it is. The design was completely different as well. I am not going to say it looks bad, but i disliked it. Why are random players allowed to give maps a new tileset that looks like garbage? The oldschool feel is so much better. Renaming the map as well from HDP_Teleport also bugged me.

I would like to give my opinion and let the older maps stay as they were. For nostalgia.

Thanks.

PS. No offense to Broken who might take it personally.

If there are really cool remakes, wich looks great without loosing the nostalgic feeling it's okay, i think.

I don't like Broken's modern reworks, too. But maybe other people like them? Don't know.

You see a new map in novice called Xyz. As you download it you wonder to yourself, "Is this the old map Xyz?" Much to your disappointment you find out it's actually the old map called... Xyz with new tiles and parts made smoother for new players who may never played it before and old players who remember it with nostalgia.
Why are random players allowed to give maps a new tileset that looks like garbage?
I spend hours working on old maps I remember and enjoyed with players, so that we can still have them in a nice format on DDNet.
The oldschool feel is so much better.
You can't possibly conceive that someone else might not agree that yellow clouds and generic map is beautiful to you.
Renaming the map as well from HDP_Teleport also bugged me.
Even though the mapper was clearly given credit and a huge "HDP" in the map file name is stupid.

I love the new Teleport style. Good work, Broken.
