How to re-sign in to ddnet client?

Post by Swee »

hi, I have been using DDNet Client on More than 1 computer.
but whenever I first use it. it asks for a nickname, I use my current nickname (Swee),
but it said that the nickname already exists, and the dialog box only appeared for 1 second and put me into the menu.
is there any way I can use the same nickname on multiple Clients?

You can just ignore the warning about the already existing username. DDNet is not based on accounts, so it's basically just an information for new players that they should probably change to another nickname. In your case, that doesn't matter.

If you don't want the warning each time you start a new client and also if you want to have your settings on other computers, take a look here: https://wiki.ddnet.org/wiki/FAQ#Where_i ... directory?
