Is there any possible way to have this feature on permanently?

It is really useful and I can't figure out a way :(

Yes opening f1 whilst having HOOKCOLL on will just keep it on, also hook it self stays how it is and you can chat whilst being hooked to the ceiling or whatever. This also works on other servers with the console. hitting the chat button only works on DDNET srvs.

While we're at it, on ddnet you can also /pause while holding your hook after F1 or by holding hook all the time.

small tutorial on how to stay hooked on hooktiles:
1. Hook the Hooktile and keep pressing the RMB until you've openend the console
2. Release RMB and then close console. (The Hook stays hooked until you proceed to Step 3)
3. Press RMB again when you want to release the hook.

This does not work on tees unless you have endless hook/drag

Does this answer your question?

I always did it as you explained, but I think when you are in /pause, then you stop hooking when you return back (or there was a similar problem I experienced some months ago, I don't know if this is already fixed)

ehm yes on DDnet this doesnt occure anymore and i havent seen a srv that still releases the hook after a while. (but that could be because I'm only on DDnet, so...)
