From time to time I clean up the test server.
When I see 10km list of the maps, where are stupid names, stupid "maps", maps that are in Archive or MapName, Map_Name and Map Name (while it's exactly the same map but fixed versions) it's time to remove some of them. I know tester can use map_change, but it's faster to click the name and force vote.

I want to ask about few maps, who uplaoded them, who is the mapper, why are they on test server, did the mapper forget, can we remove them, will they be finished, anything?

We stole this map from another server and didn't make thread, didn't ask the mapper (SlaeR, DisconnecT team). I think testers can take a look at it, looks Brutal, not sure if we should release it.

Amol, you made thread with everything, we tested the maps randomly, then you made many threads with your maps. I can't find these maps, we said "no release"? You forgot to post these maps again? Should we test them? Should we remove? Just say what to do with them.

(n = new). I fixed Chaos maps looooong time ago for ddnet and ddmax (they had Chaos 4 too), took me many hours They were really bugged, I removed one cheat, made the hookthrough better. Idk what went wrong that we didn't upload fixed versions. The reason I heard was "people finished the maps so it's playable".

About the finished maps.

As you said, some of them were posted in forum and no one wanted to test them. That could have reasons, like to bad, hard or just because testers had no time.

i dont know if i should finish it or not, if i will, i will either take the good parts in aim 7 or delete the bad parts.

And why is here "valentees" by Tsin? I know it's soon, but we need better maps than this.

23 Jul 2015 I removed 121 maps out of 198 from the test server because it was just crap (as you can see only 77 should stay)
but 3 weeks later (today) I see 155 maps on the server again

You know, I tell mappers not to change mapnames for a pretty important reasons and (trial!) testers should care about that too please. Also, it's not a place for one part tests, what you can do on your LAN server or weird one platform "maps".

This time I won't show maps, but the vote list:

I told you I will write a script to simply remove old maps. For example I could remove every map that's been unchanged on test server for 3 months. I think that sounds reasonable, and then no one has to check the list by hand.
