I'm mostly talking about DDNet, not Vanilla Teeworlds. Some of the things difficult to figure out for a noob:
  • How to chat? (Yes, some don't know)
  • What kind of servers are there and what's their meaning, stars? (Novice, Moderate, ...)
  • How do I change map?
  • How can I hook someone?
  • How to restart?
  • What is freeze?
  • How to switch weapon?
  • What do the weapons even do?
  • What are all these weird tiles?
  • How to time hooking and hammering at edges?
  • How to hammerfly?
  • ...

Well, by default chat is bound to t, not to enter, which can be confusing.

For me, it was natural because some other games were using t as well for chatting.

someone make a tutorial how to switch weapon please, i dont know :D
lol, Deen, if someone really made a guide, nobody would ever find it in time.
its all about practice, i tried explaining some irl friends what to do and they didnt understand anything. xD
