Re: Journey Man, Last Version?
This map has been around for a long time. I hope some testers can walk through it a last time before release.

Re: Journey Man, Last Version?
ok, this is difficult. I just played through the first parts. Some parts are nice, some are weird, some useless, some boring. Testing it properly would be a looot of work, fixing it too. I'm not sure what to do.

The idea was to make it first novice, secondairy oldschool, thirdly moderate, fourthly brutal

Re: Journey Man, Last Version?
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOOOoooOOOoooOOOoooOOOoooOOOoooOOOoooOOOoooOOO. I finally finished testing the map. It took me so long (also due to my connection problems) that I basically forgot the pros and cons of the map. The map is...
...you guessed it, really long
...interesting, it has kinda a few different biomes and high detail graphics
...many parts with switches, maybe too many that aren't necessarily needed
...a little bit irritating
...filled with bugs ... and a few question from my side
Since I made so many screens (bugs, questions, suggestions) it might be quite confusing for the mapper. So this time I didn't only add "page numbers" at the left bottom but also pointed out where the bugs can be found. How? Well, in every screen I added the Checkpoint number (at least I hope so) so bugs are pretty easy to find when you enter the map via Teeworlds
And to the length: I have no plan how long it would take to finish this map but probably not too long

Re: Journey Man, Last Version?
Some more screens about the text fields (story). The story ends in the middle of the map...? I also didn't understand some things in that dialogues, which also had some typos (spelling mistakes). I wrote my own version, maybe you like it or can make use of it
