For real Konsti, stfu. The argument 'it is better' is anyway not a reason. New ht are just much more convenient for the mapper.

With old Hookthroughs u could rescue someone which seems fail, because there are some angles in which u can hook a tee.
With the new this dont work, this is just boring when there is no chance to rescue someone.

Got nothing to add on this .. jao said it already. Pretty much the same shit like when people don't want to fix cuts which skips 90% of the map.

Is it important what the mapper want?
The Game should be funny for The player, not for The mapper when he see tees fail.
And you cant compare that To 90% Skips. One part is maybe 5% of map, just not too fail it isnt The same like skip the hole map.
