Race maps on DDNet?

I see 35 votes against a server and only 19 for a server so i dont know what you talking about

There was a discussion about that. and the most were for a race server.

Just a few are for a race server, many are against and most people don't even care. Wouldn't say that race server is so required.
And obviously the guys who should manage the server aren't able to.

Welf already asked me to help and we created a list of maps together, I still want to help, so I asked Welf what to do next and I was not able to get an appropiate answer......

So Im still willing to help!

Ok I was for a race server but nevertheless i voted "Add the few best race maps to DDNet solo server without a category", because it was the only possibility there (race server vote was added later). Some people did it like me.

Lets say the half of the people which voted 4th option were for a race server but they couldnt vote for it.
That means 26 pro race votes and 21 against it. And it still must not be right, because some people voted for second and third option (like me) at the time the first option was not yet added so they have at first race maps. Thats was in their opinion better than no race maps.

As a result the complete poll is not representative because the first vote was added too late.

I don't see what's the problem in adding a race server. There are so many other mods that have its own server which I never played before. So why not race. I think quite a lot ppl are interested in (pure) race maps

deen if you do add race server, pls don't only count top 10 towards real ranking.

I never liked that about Teerace either.

That's why the points system on DDNet is made in such a way that you can never lose points, only gain more.
